Affordable Alaskan Travel |
About Us

We are Alan & Sharon Finifrock. We are originally from Barnum and Duluth, Minnesota. We are both trained as Elementary teachers and taught in Alaska rural/bush schools. We have traveled and worked in Alaska for 23+ years, starting in 1969. Currently we reside in Cloquet, Minnesota, and plan to travel to Alaska yearly. We can't seem to get enough.
In Alaska we have climbed mountains, hunted, fished, toured, become educated on the Alaskan flora, fauna, and people. We have driven the Alaskan Highway 12 times. We even walked through part of the Alaskan pipeline while it was being built. We have a lot of knowledge to share and hope to help your travel not only be enjoyable but educational as well.

1997 - 2001 Worked and lived in Toksook Bay, an Eskimo village of 500, located 500 air miles west of Anchorage
2001 - 2013 Volunteered on the Kenai Peninsula at Soldotna, 150 road miles south of Anchorage
